Club Internal Competitions
Open to all members who, prior to playing in the first round of a competition, have been accepted as full members having
a) Paid the current club subscription
b) Not entered other clubs outdoor competitions for the current year, other than Open Competitions.
c) If for any reason at the start of (or during) the season a member finds they will not be available for Finals Weekend, they must not enter or, alternatively must withdraw immediately from any club competition listed below.
d) Entries must be received no later than 2 weeks after Regtistration Day ("Signing on Day" - 22 March 2026). Anyone wishing to enter after this date will be placed on a waiting list. Then, if any entrant pulls out of a competition(s) the Competition Secretary will offer the vacant draw spot to the first person on the waiting list.
e) The draw for competitions will be made by a quorum of 5 members consisting of mens/ladies - President/vice president, captain, vice-captain, competition secretary and players rep.

Presentations to all the competition winners will be Monday 21 September at 6pm
Mens
- Mens Championship - singles - 4 bowls, 21 shots
Open to all men
- Mens Two Wood - singles - 2 bowls, 21 ends
Open to all men
- Mens Pairs - 4 bowls, 21 ends - handicapped
Choose your partner
Calculate the handicap by adding the two handicaps and dividing by two. If there is a 1/2 go to the lowest number (i.e. 7 + 2 = 9 divided by 2 = 4 1/2 = 4). The difference in the handicap of the players is added, after the first end, to the score of the players with the lowest handicap.
- Don Stanton Cup - singles, Fixed jack, 2 bowls, 16 ends
To be played as a normal competition. Short jack is 23m from the front edge of mat & long jack is 36m from front end of the mat, both indicated by T pegs, with the mat positioned with the front edge level with the 2m mark of the rink
Ladies
- Ladies Championship - singles - 4 bowls, 21 shots

- Ladies Two Wood - singles - 2 bowls, 21 ends

- Phyl Hammon Rose Bowl - singles - 3 bowls, 15 ends
Open to all ladies
Mixed
- Presidents Cup - singles - 4 bowls, 21 shots
Open to all members, no handicap
(losers of the 1st round will automatically be entered into the Presidents Plate)
- Novice - singles - 4 bowls, 21 shots
Open to anyone who has not won at Ashcombe or elsewhere and have been a playing member for no more than 3 years at the start of the season
- Veterans - singles - 4 bowls, 21 shots
Open to Full Members over the age of 65 at the start of the season.
- Mixed Handicap - singles - 4 bowls, 21 shots - handicapped
Open to men and women
- Mixed Pairs - 3 bowls, 21 ends - handicapped
Choose your partner (opposite gender) when you enter on signing on day. If you do not have a partner then the Competition Secretary will allocate a partner for you.

- Wednesday Night Triples (Roger Cox Trophy) - 3 bowls - handicapped
Minimum of 12 ends (otherwise agreed between teams). Maximum of 5 players per team. Reserves very welcome, please register as such
