Teams of three players playing with 3 bowls each. Usually 18 ends, but occasionally some external competitions may require 21 ends.
Leads bowl their 3 bowls first, then the Twos, meanwhile the Skips are standing at the opposite end of the Green behind the jack, giving instructions to their team mates on how they want to develop the head. After the Two has finished bowling, the team mates change ends so that the Skip is ready to bowl, while the Two gives information WHEN ASKED by the Skip. The Lead stands well back from the head and keeps still, so as not to distract the Skip while they are bowling.
