Victoria Triples League
18 ends - 3 triples (each 3 players with 3 bowls)
A smaller league with only 5 Clubs to play. These clubs are situated to the south of Weston-super-Mare and offer us the opportunity to visit clubs we would otherwise not visit.
All our players can be transported by our designated drivers to away matches.
WHITES – tea & biscuits after
There are 10 Points available for each match and are calculated as follows –
- 2 points for each winning Triple (i.e. max 6 points available)
- If a Triple draws then each Team gets 1 point
- The total number of shots is then added together - 4 points to the team with the highest total of shots
The Victoria Triples away game that was due to be played on 11 September has been cancelled and conceded to North Petherton. This is due to the funeral of Roger Cox being held the same day and many of our lady players wanting to attend the funeral and wake at the club afterwards.
